Photographing an Annual Retreat for Women Touched by Cancer
Courageous Women, Fearless Living is an educational, non-profit organization which arranges a retreat each year at the Shambhala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. For three years in a row, I have had the privilege and honor of photographing a portion of this special event. As a volunteer in the program, I offer my services and images to these women. They exhibit inspiring courage and are filled with such kindness and love. The participants come together from all walks of life to be nurtured, educated and supported. The gifts I receive from this event far outweigh any of the gifts I can share.
